What is Baybolt?
Baybolt is auto repair shop management software for independent garages. Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
Yes. A card is required to start your 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged.
What happens after the 14 days?
Your trial turns into the $79/month plan. There’s no contract, and you can cancel anytime from your account.
Is it really unlimited mechanics?
Yes. Add as many mechanics and managers as you need. The price stays $79 a month for the whole shop.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Baybolt runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Can my mechanics use it from their phones?
Yes. Mechanics clock in and out, see the jobs assigned to them, update tasks and add inspection photos right from their phone.
How do customers get updates?
Send inspections, estimates and invoices by text or email from your phone. Customers can approve work from the inspection report and follow their repair with a tracking link.
How do online payments work?
Connect your own Stripe account once. Then send a customer a payment link by text or email, and they pay by card from their phone. The money goes straight to your Stripe account. Stripe charges its standard card fee, and Baybolt adds nothing on top.
Can Baybolt remind customers about appointments and service?
Yes. Turn on email reminders and Baybolt emails customers the day before a booked appointment, and invites them back a set number of months after their last visit. Emails come from your shop’s name, replies go to you, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export your data to CSV anytime and use it with any accounting software.
